I ran as fast as I could, all the way to the park. I was running from Jordain again. I got to the park, and my face was wet, I was out of breath, and sobbing. I slid down to the ground in front of a tree and pulled my legs up to my chest, wrapped my arms around my legs and buried my eyes on my knees. I started to sob.
Only a few seconds passed and I herd someone say "Hey." I looked up to see a curly brown haired boy about my age.
I wiped my eyes and said "Hi."
He sat down next to me "I'm Nick." he said.
I sniffled and said "Selena."
Nick looked me consered and said "Whats wrong?"
I wiped my eyes again and said "Nothing I'm fine."
He glanced at my arm then looked in my eyes and said "Thous bruises on your arm don't look like nothing."
"Really I'm fine." I said crying more.
He wrapped his arms around me and said "Why don't I walk you home and you can take a shower and change then I'll take you to my house." It was quiet for a second but he kept his arms around me. I sniffled and he asked "Do you wanna do that?"
I nodded. "Good." he said letting go of me and standing up. He gave me his hand to help me up and I took it.
"Ow." I groaned, my chest was still hurting where Jordain had kicked me.
Nick put his arm around my waist and asked "Which way to your house?"
"That way" I said pointing towards my house.
"Mine too." He said smiling. I smiled too, I was feeling a little better.
"Mine." I said laughing.
"You can drive?" Nick asked.
"Na, it's for next year when I'm 16." I said taking my house key out of my pocket. I stuck it in but Jordain didn't lock it. Of coarse Jordain didn't lock it. I thought to myself while pushing the door open.
"Oh." Nick said as we walked up the stairs and into my bed room.
"Make yourself conferable, I'm going to take a shower." I said grabbing a towel and walking into the bathroom. I took my shower quick so I could get back to Nick.when I got out I realized I forgot clothes. I wrapped my towel around myself but it didn't cover all my bruises and most importantly not the big blue one on the back of my leg. I can't go out there like this I thought to myself.
"Nick!" I yelled. No answer. "Nick! can you get me some clothes?!" still no answer. I sighed and walked out. He was laying on my bed with his ipod on. "Figures." I mumbled and quickly walked over to my dresser hoping he wouldn't see me. Suddenly I herd Nick gasp. I turned around quickly and said "What?" frantically.
"Your leg!" he said and I started to cry. "Selena, who did this to you?!"
"No one! Go away!" I shouted running to the bathroom. I locked the door and slid down to the floor crying in my hands. I herd a knock on the door. "GO!! AWAY!!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry." Nick said quietly.
"GO!! AWAY!!" I shouted again.
