Chapter Five
After arguing with myself in my head I decided to go and talk to Nick. I was walking to his locker when I saw Sarah and Kelly staring at me. "What?" I asked them. "Nothing." Said Kelly. I saw her texting frantically on her phone. I walked on thinking how strange that was.
*Abigal's view*
My phone went of and it was from Kelly and it said Go. That was my cue I walked up to Nick started talking to him and whenever I heard footsteps I grabbed him and kissed him.
"Back to Me*
I was walking around the corner where Nick's locker is and I saw him kissing someone. I wasn't sure who it was at first but then I saw it was Abigal. I know I said yes to Jake asking me out but I still sorta like Nick. I stood there looking at him with hurt in my eyes. I couldn't take it anymore so I ran away. Once I left, Abigal let go of Nick.
*Nick's view*
"What the hell was that?!" I yelled.. "Don't act like you don't like me, Nick. It's not working." Abigal said. "It's not acting! I don't like you, like Bethany." I yelled again. "Oh, really? Because I heard she has a date tonight... with Jake." Abigal said smugly. "Who's Jake?" I asked. "Oh, it's Jake Hart." I had a puzzled look on my face. "Captain of the basketball team, just broke up with Hayden..." Abigal was trying to explain but I just said. "Forget it! She's not actually going to go out with him is she? He's not cool! He sometimes wears sunglasses indoors! Who does that?" "He does, obviously." Abigal said. She kissed me on the check then left. I've gotta talk to Bethany I told myself.
*Back to me*
I was outside school sitting on a bench thinking about what I'd just seen. Nick came running up to me out of breath asking me "Is it true? Are you going out with Jake Hart tonight?" "Leave me alone." I said. I got up and started walking. Nick ran in front of me. "I'm sorry about the video, OK?" He said. "Oh, this isn't about the video anymore. Well, it used to be but.." I was finding it hard to explain it to him. "Oh! You know what you did!" I walked off and Nick grabbed my arm and put me in front of a tree. "What did I do?" He asked confused. "You know what you did!" I yelled. His face was close to mine and I was trying to walk away but he just wouldn't let me. He leaned in and kissed me. I didn't want to kiss him so I did what I first thought of. I pushed him away and slapped him. I walked away angrily. I turned around and yelled to him "And yes, it is true!"
