CHAPTER TWO:
?????'s POV
The tree's leaves rustled gently, tingling my every nerve. I crept slyly over to the two sleeping bodies, watching each rib cage rise and fall in perfect tandem.
"Young love, is it?" I breathed gently, my eyelids fluttering. It truly was a good night for this.
Oh, I'd been waiting long enough. Long enough to prove how I really felt.
Kicking over one of the bodies roughly, the other stirred, moaning slightly. It was the boy. Not the one I'd expected though.
"Hey! How dare you kick her -" he said angrily, sitting up and staring at Demi's crumpled figure. I heard a sob escape from her mouth. I chuckled.
"Shut up, sleeping beauty," I said, rolling my eyes. She fixed me with a confused stare.
"What -"
"What are you doing out here, with this one? Isn't it the other one your after? The other one that you love hopelessly, when I'm the one who truly deserves him?" I breathed, passion enveloping my voice. I'd waited too long, read too many gossip magazines.
"What are you talking about?" Her face was redder than a vibrant strawberry. I only chillingly laughed again, and pulled her to her feet and thrust her against the boy, who had allready stood. He grasped her in his arms, and I knew nothing of their lurking love, that hadn't been realized by either yet.
I only kicked them, motioning forward, back to the room where the others were trapped.
The dance room.
A raindrop splattered on my face, as the moon shone even brighter.
Joe's POV
Demi. Demi. Demi.
Where was she? Where was Nick? What was going on?
Would I ever get to tell her how I felt? How I loved her? Did she feel the same?
I knew something, at least - Nick liked her.
After all the countless scenes I'd had with her, Nick had always seemed distant with me. Always suspected my feelings. But I kept them hidden, because he was my best friend - my brother. What could I do, sincerely stomp on his dream of dating Demi? I counted on her liking me - she talked to me more, around Nick, he always got tongue-tied it seemed.
But that was useless information now. Where were they?
The door opened, and two people screamed. I saw two shadows hit the ground with a terrible, clunking thud, and heard a shrill, devilish laugh from behind them.
"Safe for now, aren't you?"
