Chapter 1
I rubbed my eyes and rolled over in my bed. But instead of mattress. I got floor. "ow." I moaned. My aunt ran in the room. She was like my mother. In a good way. She would always take care of me and make sure I was always okay. I had been living with her ever sence I remember. I had always called her Auntie. Nothing else. Some people laughed. But it was normal for me. Then of course Jamie. THE coolest cousin in the world. I pretty much had the best family. Well...most of it was good. "Are you okay?" Auntie asked. "I'm fine. Just missed the bed." I laughed. "AW! Man. Second time that's happened and I always for get my video camera." Jamie said stepping in. I rolled my eyes and jumped up. "Yeah yeah. What ever." I mumbled. "HONEY I'M HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Carissa yelled from down stairs. "I'm not your honey." Jamie said walking back in to the bathroom. I laughed and quickly pulled up my hair and fixed my tank top and plaid pj pants. I ran down stairs and grabbed a buscuit. "Butter?" Auntie asked. "Thanks." I said. Jamie ran down stairs and Carissa had already made herself at home. She had the tv on and her feet up. "Feet down." Jamie said sitting on the other couch.
We all sat there for a while doing nothing when the phone rang. "Hello? Oh...what? But...I see. Yeah. I'll make sure she's packed. mhm. Bye." Auntie said. "Rachel. dear. Your gonna need to pack all your belongings." "Why?" I asked looking up. "Your moving." "We're moving?!" Jamie said. "No. Rachel. Is moving. Back home. With her mother."

DUN DUN DUN! That can't be good. lol. i didn't really feel like doing a prologe. but here is the 411. Rachel has lived with her aunt and Jamie ever sence she was little. She was takin away from her mother and her aunt adopted her pretty much. But now they say her mother is fine and her mom wants her back. Is this good or bad? bad most likely. Chapter 2 "Do i have to leave?! I don't want to?! Can she make me?" I asked. "I'm afraid so. She said she will be picking you up tomorrow." "TOMORROW?! WHAT! NO." I yelled. "She your mom. You have to." Jamie whispered. "You don't know her Jamie." I siad. "Neither do you." Jamie said looking at me. "Maybe it wouldn't be so bad." Carissa said. I rolled my eyes and walked up to my room. Jamie and Carissa walked up there with me and helped me pack. "Does this mean you'll never get to see us again?" Carissa asked. "I hope not." I said. "What about school? My friends are here." I said. Jamie shrugged her shoulders. Maybe you won't live far from us. It took all day to pack my clothes and everything. Well most of the day. I still had school. But the princpal let me skip my last to classes to go home early. When Jamie got home i was finished. There were boxes all in my room and two or three in the hallway. "WOAH." Jamie said walking in. "Yeah. I'm done." I mumbled. "Tomorrows a saturday." Jamie said changing the subject. "Yeah. I know." "GIRLS! Dinner." "Coming. Jamie yelled back. We both went down stairs and sat down to eat. It was a very quiet dinner. Then the door bell rang. Jamie got up to answer the door. A Lady was standing there. She looked mean and unwelcoming. "I was in town and i stopped by to pick up someone." The woman said annoyed. "Oh. Uh. Who are you?" Jamie asked. "Your mother. I don't have time for this, Rachel." The woman said. "Listen crazy. Your not my mom. I would like a name. and i'm not Rachel." Jamie said. Auntie and I stood up and walked to the door. "You said you weren't gonna be here till tomorrow." Auntie said. "I was in town early. I have places to be and people to see. So can i have my daughter please." The woman said. "You're....my mom....no way." I mumbled. "COME ON! Grabb your stuff and lets go." I ran up stairs with Jamie and grabbed some boxes. "What's her name?" Jamie whispered. "...Amy. I think." I said. We walked down stairs and Amy looked at us. "What are you movin? Why do you need all these boxes?" "Uh. Kinda." I said. When we got everything into the car. I turned around and hugged Jamie and then my aunt. "I'll miss you guys." I said almost crying. "COME ON!" Amy yelled from the car. "Call me." Jamie whispered in my ear. "I will." I got in the car and my 'mother'. sped off to our house. It was about 3o minutes form Jamie's house mom's speed. But regular speed. 45 minutes. Hour tops. We go to the house. It was a nice size house. It was big enough for me to get lost in it. "Take all your crap up stairs and go to bed." Amy said. It took 30 minutes for me to take all my boxes up stairs. My legs were hurting badly when i went back for the last box. Walking up and down to very large storys. wow. a lot of work. When i finally made it out side. I saw someone from the house across the street walk out of the house. He looked about 3 years older than me. "Hm. 18..19." I mumbled. "WHAT DID I SAY!. Hurry up and get your but in the bed." Amy yelled from the door. I looked back at the boy and he was looking over at me. I walked back out to the car and grabbed the last box. But when i went to the door. It was locked. "YOUR KIDDING ME! AMY!" I yelled. I put my box down and banged on the door. Great. My own mother locked me out of the house. This was perfect.
Chapter 2

Chapter 3 I sat down on the porch and waited hoping she would unlock the door. "Uh. Hi." I looked up and saw the guy i saw across the street. "Hi." I said smiling. Wow he was cute. "I'm Joe....Jonas I saw Amy yell at you. Are you one of her friends?" Joe asked. "haha. No not really. I'm Rachel, her daughter." I said smiling "She has a daughter?" Joe asked. "Uh. Kinda. But she doesn't really act like a mom." "What do you mean?" "Well. She's never been there. I leaved with my aunt ever since i was little. My mom....left." "Oh. I'm sorry." Joe said looking at his feet. "I'm not. She called my aunt today. And said she was gonna pick me up tomorrow. But she stopped by early and now i'm here. Locked out of the house. After she yelled at me." I said. "She locked you out?" Joe asked. I chuckled, "Yeah." "Hm. That's...interesting. You welcome to come over to my house and call her. My mom has her house number." Joe said. "That would be great. Unless i sleep outside tonight...like a dog." "You're nothing like a dog. Come on." Joe said extending his hand. He pulled me to my feet and led me to his house. I walked in and lokoed around. It was a cute house. Not to big but not to small. I liked it. It was very homey and welcoming...unlike Amy's place. "This way." Joe said leading me to the kitchen. I walked in and saw a woman and a little boy standing there. "Hey mom. What is Amy's house number. SHe locked her daughter out of the house." Joe said. "She has a daughter?" Mrs.Jonas asked. I smiled and laughed a little. "Is she that ashamed of me?" Joe looked at me and shook his head no. "Okay. Here's the number." Mrs. Jonas said handing me a peice of paper. I dialed the number and she picked up quickly. "Hello?" "Hey. Can you unlock the door? You kinda locked me out." "I thought you were in you room." "Uh. No." I said. "Okay. It's unlocked. Get home and go to bed." SHe said hanging up. "Thanks Amy." I said hanging up. "Thank you Mrs.Jonas. Thanks Joe." "Anytime." Joe said smiling at me. I walked out the door and off they're porch. "Hey? Will i see you tomorrow?" Joe asked. "Yeah. I think so." I said smiling. "Okay." Joe called. "Bye." I quickly ran across the street in the house and up to my room and on my bed. I didn't bother changing. I was too tired. SO i just went to sleep.
Chapter 3

Chapter 4 I woke up that morning to a loud noise. It sounded like someone was throughing a bowling ball down the stairs. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I ran in my room and put on more comfortable clothes. So i grabbed my black, white, and pink pin striped pants and a gray tank top. I quickly put them one and started walking down stairs. Boy, my legs hurt. I was half way down when i saw Amy carrying a breaf case and a bowling ball bag. She was wairing a suit like outfit. "Oh Good your up. Grab this suit case and my bags." She said. "Uh. Good morning....?" I said grabbing the bags. "I will be gone all day and will be back tomorrow. I'm going bowling tonight with some friends and i have a job interveiw this morning. So hurry and grab those and put them in my car. I have to leave." Amy said. I grabbed all her bags. What was in these?! They were down right heavy. I finally got to the door and awaited for her to open it. She just looked at me. "Aren't you gonna open the door?" Amy asked me. "You're kidding me...right?" I said. "Open the door." She said. I dropped all her stuff and opened the door. "It's open." I snapped. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of cereal. I heard the door slam and i smiled. "She's finally gone." I mumbled. I sat on the couch and turned on the tv. This was gonna be a boring quiet day. I sighed and thought about calling Jamie It was 8 in the morning. She was probably still asleep. *ding dong* I looked over at the door. "Coming!" I yelled. I ran over and opened the door. "Good morning." Joe said smiling. "Good morning." I said shocked seeing him here. "What you up to?" "Nothing. Eating. You can come in." I said walking back to the couch. He walked over and sat on the couch and watched me eat. "Don't do that." I said as i stopped eating. "Do what?" Joe asked. "Watch me eat. It makes me feel bad." I said. Joe laughed and smiled at me and just looked at me. "UGH!" I yelled standing up and going to the kitchen. I put my bowl in the sink and walked back to were Joe was. But he wasn't there. "Joe?" i said. "BOO!" Joe yelled jumping out from the wall in front of me. "Don't do that!" I yelled throwing a pillow at him. Joe laughed and hugged the pillow. "You're so weird." I laughed out. I phone started ringing. It was Jamie! "JAMIE! AH! It's horable here. She the witch coming to get me!" I yelled in the phone. "That bad?" Jamie asked. "YES! She's so...UGH. She made me carry all her stuff. Which by the way was an arm load. Then she wanted me to open the door for her. She's suck a butt!" I said. "So..she realy is crazy!" Jamie laughed. "YES! she is. But On the plus....oh..i'll tell you that later." I said. Joe heard me say that and he just looked at me. "WHAT? What were you gonna say? Tell me. I can keep a secret!" Joe said bouncing up and down. "Stop it, Joe." But he just wouldn't stop. "Who's Joe? Is he cute?" Jamie asked. She caught on fast. "Yes. Very much." I said. "OH! Did you meet him yesterday? Do you like him? Can i meet him?" Jamie asked hyper now. "Yes, Yes, and Yes." I said moving from one place to the other. Joe wouldn't stop following me around. "AHHHHHHHHHHHH! Does he have any brothers?" Jamie said. "One. That I know of." "Is he cute?" "In a way. Yes." "How old?!" "8...maybe 9." "WHAT! RACHEL! Come one." Jamie yelled. I started laughing. "What are you laughing at?!" Joe yelled following me around. "Nothing." I siad. "OH! Tell Joe i said hi." Jamie said. "Jamie...?" "Rachel?" "Who's Jamie?" Joe asked. "My friend." I said. "No. Just tell him i said hi." Jamie said. "Joe. Jamie says hi." I siad. "Cool. Hi Jamie!" Joe yelled. We then heard a door slam. Joe and i stopped moving and looked at the door.
Chapter 4

"Nothing." I siad. "OH! Tell Joe i said hi." Jamie said. "Jamie...?" "Rachel?" "Who's Jamie?" Joe asked. "My friend." I said. "No. Just tell him i said hi." Jamie said. "Joe. Jamie says hi." I siad. "Cool. Hi Jamie!" Joe yelled. We then heard a door slam. Joe and i stopped moving and looked at the door.
"Go see who it is." Joe said stepping behind me. "What? You're the guy." I said. Joe looked at me for a minute then walked over to one of the windows. "Red alert its Amy." Joe said running back to me
"Great. Go hide." I said. "I can't hide. I'll be dead." "She'll kill me before she kills you. Go to the bathroom." I said. Joe ran up stairs and stopped in the hallway. "Where's the bathroom? Man this place is huge!" "First door on the left. Shut up." I said as i heard a knock on the door. Joe ran into the bathroom and i heard the door close. I went over to the door and opened it. "Forget something?" I asked. "Yes. The interveiw is tomorrow. So i came home. I'll be here till Whitney comes to pick me up." Amy said walking in. Poor Joe is gonna be in the bathroom for a while. Amy ploped on the couch and i closed the door. I started to walk up stairs to tell Joe. But the door bell rang. "Who could that be?" Amy asked looking at me. Which means. Get the door. I sighed and walked over to the door. Two boys with curly hair were standing there. "Hi." I said. "Hi. Our mom needs Joe. So can you send him home?" One of them said. My eyes got big and i felt Amy's eyes burning in the back of my head. "Sure. He's in the bathroom." I mumbled. "Oh. And i'm Kevin and this is Nick." "I'm Rachel." I said smiling. "HEY Joe! Are you done yet?" I yelled. "Yeah." Joe yelled. I saw him run out and look down at the steps. "So what did that witch of a mom - oh Hi Amy." Joe said embaressed. "Hello." Amy said. Joe leaned over and started whispering in my ear. "You didn't tell me she was still here." "You didn't ask." I said smiling. Joe nodded. "See yeah later." Joe said hugging me. He stopped and leaned back down and started whispering again. "If she pulls out the whip. Scream and i'll be here." I laughed and shock my head. "But when i'm done with what ever. I will be at your window. SO come and let me in." I nodded my head and Joe let go. Joe, Kevin, and Nick walked out together. When i closed the door Amy started yelling. "YOU HAD A BOY IN MY HOUSE!" Amy yelled. "We keep you in here don't we?" I said laughing some. She just glared at me. "I never want to see you and him together. Understood?" She said mad. "Fine you won't SEE us together. We'll be in a more private place next time. Like at his house. His mom is nice." I said, "You are forbidden to be around him!" Amy yelled. I grabbed my phone and ran up stairs. I called Jamie back. "Oh my gosh! Just scare the crap out of me. I heard you and him talking them. BAM! It was quiet. Then i heard you and him going back and forth like boyfriend and girlfriend telling the other to see who is at the door. Then BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEP! What were you think!" Jamie yelled. "I was thinking. If i didn't get Joe somewhere. Then she would kill us both. An now i'm forbidden to see him. What ever that means." I said. "Really. Well. How did she find out he was there?" Jamie asked. "His mom need him. ANd hsi brothers came to get him. "WAIT WAIT WAIT! BrotherSS? He has more than one! How many?" "Three." "How old?" "Uh. Kevin looked older. ANd Nick looked younger." "AH! Older. Was he hot? Can i meet him too. Oh my gosh! I'm coming to visit today. When will Amy leave?" "When ever Whitney comes to pick her up." I heard a knock at my window and i saw Joe holding on for his life at the little window. "JOE!" I almost yelled. I dropped the phone and opened the window. Joe climbed in and loked at me. "That was harder than it looks. So your alive? Eh?" Joe asked. "Yeah. I only got yelled out. ANd now i'm forbidden to see you. Oh but here you are." I said laughing. "Yes. Here i am." "HELLO?! Still here! RACHEL!!!!" Jamie yelled from the phone. I laughed, "Hey. Sorry. Joe was about to fall from the window. "Oh. So when can me and Carissa come to see you?" "Uh be here at 4"
