We were both young when I first saw you

It was my parents anniversery. We had a big party and dinner planned for them. We as in me and my brothers. Not to forget my best friend Razz. Kevin was keeping my parents out of the house. Nick and Frankie and were setting up at our house. And Razz and I were baking the cake. I being Joe. Joe Jonas.

Little did I know
Joe was coming over today. We were baking a cake for his parents anniversery party. We couldn't do it at his house because Nick and Frankie were setting up for the party. I took forever to get ready for today. I was telling him I loved him today. I was scared out of my mind but it was time. It had been years. I ran down the stairs when I heard the doorbell. Checking how I looked in the hall mirror before oping the door.

And I was crying on the staircase

I rang the doorbell after making sure I looked ok. I was confessing the fact the I loved her today. And it was important I made a good impression. She opened the door looking amazing as ever. "Hey Razz!" I walked in and gave her a hug "hey Joe!" I followed her into the kitchen and she had a cookbook open on the counter. And everything needed for every type of cake stacked on the rest of the shelves. "So I was thinking we could make this cake" she lifted up the cookbook and showed me a pretty chocolate cake. "Kevin wants us to make this" I took out the picture from my back pocket and showed her the three-layered wdding cake. "It's the one my parents had at their wedding."

Joe laughed at my expression. Well you couldn't blame me the cake was huge. "Is he insane?!" I took the picture out of his hand and leaned againest the counter looking at it. "No I'm pretty sure he's sane" I laughed and he smiled. "So Joe should we make it or what?" He took up a thoughtful position and I held back my laughter at his face. I lost it when he started stroking an invisble beard. "I think we should make it" "alright let's get started." I turned the photo over and began reading out the ingredints.
So I sneak out to the garden to see you

I began grabbing a ton of ingredints and speading them out in front of us. The entire time worrying about how I was gooing to tell her. Razz read the first set of instructions out while I took my ipod out and put it into the speakers. And started the music. One of her favorite songs came on. And she sang along while we started baking the cake. Eventually we had a system and the first cake was in the oven. I had the frosting ready but I smeared a handleful into Razz's hair first. "Joe!" I laughed at her. She had a white frosting all over the top of her head. It was a sight to see. She smacked me in the arm and then left me to decorate the first cake while she baked the second layer.

I left Joe alone after he smearded the frosting in my hair. But I was gonna get him back. I put the second cake in the oven and walked over just as Joe was finishing up the frosting. I looked it over "pretty good" "ya think so?" he looked at me innocently and I almost regreted getting back at him but I got over it. "Yea it looks really good. He put in safe distance from the rest of the baking. When he walked over I cracked an egg over his head. Laughing as the gooey white stuff slid down his face. His expression was the funniest part. I almost fell over laughing. I stuck his hair uder the facuet and washed it all out. "Alright you got me" I nodded still giggling.

Me and Razz started baking the top layer of the cake. We took the second layer out of the oven and let it cool. I helped her finish up the top layer. We joked around the entire time. Stopping every so often to dance like manics to the music. Doing this got a ton of flour, honey, vanilla, and eggs all over the floor. We just ignored it all. Everything was perfect. But I still hadn't told her how I felt.
I got tired of waiting

When i met you on the outskirts of town, and I said
Everything was going great. We were making a big mess in my kitchen but I didn't care. We just finished jumping around to a Taylor Swift song. We were almost done the cake. We had decorated the second layer together smearing frostinf on eachother faces and eating the left overs. We went back to working on the top layer. We finished and put it in the oven. I set the timer adn wiped my hands on a dish towel. "So I think we did a good job" Joe looked around "yea except for this mess" I shrugged "you can help me clean it later" I smiled and he just looked at me and said "whatever, we might as well make it messier."

He knelt to the ground and pulled out a ring and said
Razz smiled and nodded. She walked over to the bag of flour. Sticking her hands in and pulling out a mound of it she threw it at my face. We started a war. I cracked four raw eggs over her head. And she smeared my face in frosting. I grabbed the flour bag and dumped the entire thing over her head. She stood there for a second while I laughed. I took a step back and slipped on a raw egg and fell. She started laughing at me. I was flat on my back on the floor.

I was pointing and laughing at Joe. He slipped on a raw egg and landed on his back. I couldn't stop laughing. I stood over him. He wrapped his legs around mine and made me fall too. I wasn't expecting it at all. I landed on top of him just as Love Story by Taylor Swift started. "Hello" he looked at me. "Hi" I started laughing and he just looked at me. After I stopped laughing I looked at him. "Joe" "Razz" we said at the same time.

"You first" she said. I looked at her and took a deep breath. Which was awkward since she was still laying on top of me. "Umm. . .I have to tell you something." She smiled slightly, and I went on. I looked her in the eye and said. . .

I watched Joe try and tell me something. On the outside I was the poster child for calmness. On the inside I was freaking.
Oh,
I took another deep breath. "Razz I really like you." I waited for an answer. And the song seemed to get louder in the backround. My heart started beating faster when she smiled.
We were both. . .
I was the happiest person on earth when he said that. "I really like you too." "Really?" I nodded and smiled at his surprise.
