Chapter 22

My eye lids fluttered open. I had no idea what time it was. I was laying in almost the middle of the bed and Edwards head laid on my chest. I could have swore i fell asleep laying on him. His arm wrapped around my waist and one of his legs were drapped over my legs. I looked down at him. He was fast asleep on me. I smiled. I ran my fingers through his hair and twisted it softly and slowly. I didnt want to wake him. His breathing was even and soft against my chest. It tickled a little. I couldnt help but giggled.
He moaned and started to strech.
"Morning handsom." I smiled.
"Morning." He mumbled. He continued to strech and then pulled the covers up to his shoulders and cuddled closer.
"I can see you like to cuddle." I said laughing. He smiled and lightly kissed my stomach. His lips felt warm on my skin.... i liked it.
"Wakey wakey, sweetie!" I said.
"No." He mumbled.
"Yes." I said smiling.
He grabbed the covers and flung them over my head. He was suddenly sitting on top of me, his face inches from mine.
"Hey there." I laughed a little.
"Hey." Edward smiled.
"Whatcha doin?" I asked.
"Looking at the most beautiful woman ive ever laid my eyes on." Edward said with a grin.
I smiled and put my hands on his face, "Kiss me."
He leaned down quickly. His lips crashed on mine. My legs locked around one of his legs. He pulled me closer. He pushed his hand under my back. His fingers felt like they left a burning trail. His fingers played with my bra strap. I couldnt tell what he was trying to do. But something told me to stop.
"WHOA!" I said pushing him away.
"WHAT NOW?!" He yelled rolling off of me.
"You know my limits."
"Why do you even have those? Its not like anything could happen. Its not like i could get you pregnent."
"Dont think like that. I dont like it. Anything COULD happen....and im not taking any risks."
"Take that risk with me. Make a mistake. Please!" Edward begged me.
"Edward. Do you love me?"
"Of course i do."
"Do you honestly love me?"
"Yes."
"Love me so much that you think you might want to marry me one day?"
"Yes. Of course."
"Then if you truly love me, then youll repect my wishes. Wait till we're married." I whispered.
"LANA!"
"Edward."
"Thats CRAZY!"
"No its not."
"YES! Yes it is! If we know we're gonna get married one day, then why not go ahead and do it?!"
"Nick would wait."
"Dont bring that a-"
"EDWARD!"
"Im sorry! But i just dont like him."
"You dont know him!"
"I dont wanna know him!"
"Well youll probably have to know him." I said getting up off the bed. Edward just watching me search for some clothes.
"Seriously. No."
Seriously. Yes. Get over it, buster."
"Lana!" Edward said getting off the bed. He walked over and grabbed some shorts and another tshirt.
"Edward." I said looking at him. He watched me slip on the shorts and then i heald out my hand for the shirt.
"Whats the magic word?"
"Please. Now. Or else." I said looking at him. I wasnt in the mood for his games.
"Should we go back to bed Mr. Grumpy pants???" Edward asked.
"Shut up." I mumbled opening the door. Edward had slipped on some shorts and followed me down stairs.
"Whats on the schedule for today?" Edward asked me.
"I dont know. What do you want to do?" I asked.
"You kno what i wanna do....you just have these stupid limits." Edward mumbled. I spun around and smached him in the face.
"THATS ENOUGH! Ive had it, Edward! if this is how youre going to act everytime i say no to have SEX with you. Then i will REFUSE to see you. The subject is dropped ad if you bring it up again, then God help us all! "
Edwards face turned red with anger.
He grabbed is shoes and walked the door. It closed with a slam.

Chapter 24

I kept dosing off, but i would wake up quickly. Edward had soon fallen asleep. I slipped out of his arms and jogged up stairs. I grabbed my phone and dialed Nicks number quickly.
I rang a couple times.
"Joseph speaking!"
"Joe...can you give the phone to Nick."
"OH! Lana! Hey Whats up?" Joe asked.
"Joseph. Give Nicholas the phone."
"I cant do that."
"Joe, Please!" I begged.
"He asked me not too.... Im sorry, Lana." Joe whispered.
I wanted to cry. I hated having him mad at me. I didnt ask for this.
"Ummm....can i hang up now?" Joe asked.
"Joe...please. Ask him to talk to me."
"Dude she sounds like shes almost in tears! Take the dang phone!" Joe yelled.
"Shut up Joe! I dont care!"
Those last words hit me hard. He doesnt care...
"I guess i deserved that." I whispered as tears slid down my face.
"Please dont crying Lana." Joe said.
"Shes crying?"
"Shut up Nick!" Joe snapped.
"Its okay baby. I got your back." Joe said to me. I laughed a little.
"Hey! I made you laugh!" Joe said. I could picture him grinning like a little boy. Jamie was lucky to have a guy like him.
"Thanks Joe. Ill let you go. Just tell Nick-"
"Let me talk to her."
"Fine." Joe said.
"Lana?"
"Nick im really really sorry! I didnt want this to happen. I didnt mean for any of this to happen. I didnt mean to hurt you and- and" I was sobbing. I couldnt get anything else out.
"Shhh. Please dont cry, sweetie." Nick whispered.
His voice was so soothing. I calmed down a little.
"Can we met somewhere?" Nick asked me. The question was unexpected, but i quickly answered.
"Yes."
"Good. Where at?"
"Come to my house tonight. Ill keep my window open."
"Will He be there?" Nick asked.
"No. Ill make sure he goes home."
"Is this really what you want? To be with him and not me?" Nick asked.
"Im not sure, Nicholas. But i do know i want to see you."
"Good. Ill see you tonight."
"Okay. Bye, Nick."
"Till tonight, babe."
I smiled.
"And for the record. I do care." Nick said.
"Thats good. It would honestly break my heart if you didnt."
"Now we cant have that. I love you Lana."
"I love you too Nick."
I hung up the phone and sighed.

"Lana?" Edward called.
"Up here!" I yelled.
Edward walked in through my door. He smiled when he saw me. He walked over to my bed and pulled me in his arms. He kissed my neck lightly.
"Edward."
"Hm?" He moaned still kissing me.
"You have to go home."
"Excuse me?" he asked looking at my face.
"Well...you need to be with Annie. You havent seen her all day." I said putting my hands on his face. I eyed my face.
"What are you hidding?" He asked.
"Nothing." I said.
"Yes you are."
"No im not." I said it a child voice. I smiled a little.
He looked at me.
"Go see your daughter."
"Will you come with me?" he asked smiling and looking at me under his eye lashes.
"No...i need to stay home. My mom is already mad at me."
Edward slipped his hands under my butt and pulled me closer.
"Then cant we charish this time we have together?"
"Listen Romeo." I said.
"Lana."
"Edward." I said looking at him in the eyes. He sighed, "Fine. But im coming to see you tomorrow."
"I have school. So come see me once i get home." I said kissing his nose. He smiled, "I will."
He put one hand on the small of my back and the other on the back of my neck.
"Till then...." He kissed my lips slow and passonatly. It made me want more, but i had to resist.
He got my bottom lip in between his teeth. His eyes twinkled as he looked at me. I kissed his lips lightly.
"Go." I finally said.
"Fine." He peck my lips. "Love you, babe!"
"Love you too."

Once Edward was gone i laid on the bed.
"How is it possable to be in love with two amazing guys?!"
