CHAPTER 55
Jamie's POV
Joe told Demi we were headed to the hospital to see her. We ran back to our room to get some stuff, then rushed out the door. The ride to the hospital was silent, with a hint of worry throughout the air. It was hard just to sit there waiting to get there. As soon as Kevin pulled into the garage, we all were immediately unbuckled and ready to jump out. The car screeched to a stop and we ran inside.
"Wait up!" Joe said stumbling a little. Apparently he's slow when he's tired.
"Well hurry up then!" Meg said a little snappy. He soon caught up to us and we headed towards the elevator.
Demi's POV
I stood in my room still pacing. I hated that no one believed me. And I was worried that that mystery person was going to come back sometime. Soon I heard something out my door which made my heart accelerate and nearly beat out of my chest. There was a knock and the door slowly opened. Soon my eyes went wide when I saw who it was.
"GUYS!" I nearly yelled as I walked over to them. Jamie and Meg held onto me for a minute making sure I was ok. Then Nick and Kevin. I then saw Joe standing there, clearly tired, but willing to be there. "Hey Joe!" I said with a large grin on my face.
"Hey. Are you ok babe?" He said, sincerely worried. I just nodded as I was wrapped in a tight, but comforting hug. I took in his musky scent, and didn't let go until we heard someone clear their throat behind us.
"Sorry." I said turning away blushing some.
"So what's going on?" Jamie asked worried and looking around.
"I saw someone outside my window. They're gone now, but I don't know who it is." I said staring out the window to reveal no one there.
Meg's POV
I stood next to Nick listening to Demi rattle on about the person. There really wasn't anyone there, but I believed her completely. Soon a nurse came in, with an angry look on her face. "You 5 can't be here! It's not visiting hours!" She said harshly.
"But...I...I needed some help." Demi said startled.
"It doesn't matter, they need to leave." She said angerier this time.
"Hey! We're here, not disturbing anyone else. Our friend was terrified and apparently none of you believed her." I snapped back at her, until I realized how rude I was. And surprisingly she nodded and walked out without another word.
"Wow." Joe, Demi, and Nick said in unison.
"Sorry. It's just some people get on my nerves." I said trying to be all innocent this time. Nick wrapped his arms around me to comfort me. We stood there hanging out with Demi throughout the night, to make sure she was safe. The nurse on the other hand was quite angry but never spoke again.

I stood behind a tree as I noticed several people in Demi's room. "What?" I said shocked. It was the Jonas Brothers and their friends, or girlfriends, or whatever you call those girls. "I thought visiting hours were over?" I said as I walked up to the hospital.
