After leaving the stage everybody broke out in the streets. Music was booming out of speakers and people were dancing and laughing, just having a good time.

As I walked up and down the streets tons of people were telling me what a good job I did and I had an amazing voice. I just smiled and thanked them. After a while I found Selena and Mac, holding hands. I smiled at her, “Hey girl.”

“Hey girl”, she said back as she smiled and blinked twice at me, “you did amazing! Oh and Joe was looking for you by the way.”

“Really?” I asked eagerly and felt my heart jump. I settled down and smiled, “Oh really? Well where did he go?”

Selena smiled mischievously, “He went that way.”

I smiled and thanked her, “Oh and your staying at my place tonight, ok?”

Selena smiled, “Fine with me.”

I walked past them and worked my way through the crowd. People started to die down and no one was really around. I looked and sighed, “Maybe he left.”

Suddenly I felt something hit the back of my head. I looked around, something hit my neck. I spun around in a complete circle, not seeing whoever threw it. I finally felt one hit my forehead and looked up, Joe was in a tree, throwing skittles at me. He smiled, “Why don’t you come join me?”

I looked down at my white dress and back up at him, “I’ll be up in a minute.”

I walked towards the tree and slipped my shoes off. I grabbed a hold of the first branch and pulled myself up. Once I reached the third branch I started to crawl out towards Joe, “This is crazy.”

“Crazy is what crazy does”, Joe said as he smiled. I looked at him, “You’re crazy.”

I say again”, Joe said as he helped me sit next to him, “crazy is what crazy does.”

I looked around, “So what are you doing up here?”

“I heard a farting squirrel”, Joe said with a big smile on his face. I giggled. He shook his head, “Naw I’m just kidding. But I was hunting.”

“Hunting?” I asked, “For what?”

“Oh this girl with dark brown hair and eyes. Have you seen her? She’s about five foot two inches and she’s wearing a white dress with a red ribbon tied around her waist. Amazing girl, you should meet her.”

I smiled at him, “I was looking for you too.”

“Really because sometimes I think girls want to run away from me”, Joe said with a smile. I shook my head, “Why would I run away from a guy like you?”

Joe smiled and leaned closer to me, “There’s something above your head.”

I looked at him, “If its bug get it off.”

Joe laughed. “It’s not a bug”, he said as he pulled a rose down and placed it in front of me, “Will you be my valentine?”

I smiled and accepted the rose, ‘Of course.”

Joe smiled, “You know, you have an incredible voice.”

I blushed, “Thanks. That means a lot coming from you.”

Joe smiled, “Well… I was talking to some producers and stuff for the movie my brothers and I were telling you about and they want you to come and try out.”

I looked at him, “Me? Seriously?”

“Yes seriously”, Joe said as he touched my hand. I felt a jolt shoot up my arms and make me blush about three different shades of red. Joe smiled, “I want you to try out too.”

I bit my lip as I looked down at his hand on mine. He leaned in closer to me, our lips were almost touching. Suddenly we heard someone call, “Hey, that’s Joe Jonas!”

It scared me and him, but Joe was the one that jumped and started falling backwards. I watched as he slipped off and hit the ground hard, listening to him moan, “I’m okay.”

My mouth dropped, “Joe…”

“I’m really okay”, Joe said as he just laid there. I started to climb down when I saw Natashia come running up and kneel next to him, “Oh Joe, you’re so funny. You know you’re a little too big to be climbing trees.”

Joe looked at her and back up at me, “Darling…”

“Coming sweetheart”, I said with a smile. Joe smiled back up at me and gave me a wink, we were so bad. I carefully climbed down and helped him up, he leaned on me and kissed my cheek, “Thank you, love.”

I smiled and kissed his cheek, “You complete me.”

Joe chuckled and Natashia started turning red with anger. We carefully walked away, Joe leaning in and whispering in my ear, “You complete me… that’s good.”

I looked at him and smiled, “Well ‘darling’ want to go out on the lake?”

“You got a boat or something?” he asked. I nodded, “ A small row boat.”

Frankie came running up, “Can I go out too?”

Joe looked at him and sighed. “We’re gonna need a bigger boat”, he said with a smile. I laughed as we began to walk towards the lake.

Turned out that Frankie couldn’t come with us. I was sad, yet excited to have alone time with Joe. I didn’t know what it was about him that made me feel so… excited and nervous and anxious all at the same time. It was amazing, yet scary… exciting, yet horrifying. Joe had a way of turning me upside down and inside out.

“Here it is”, I said as we walked to the edge of the lake. A small row boat with a couple of oars hung over the side floated against the shore. Joe nodded, “Well, it’s not a yhat, but it’ll do.”

I giggled and stepped in it. Joe started to push us out into the water and then jumped in before his feet got wet. He scooted towards me and grabbed both oars, rowing us both out to the middle of the lake. I looked up, February fourteenth, Valentine ’s Day, and I was spending the night out on the lake with Joe Jonas. I bit my lower lip when Joe looked at me and winked. I looked at me feet and then up at the sky, the stars were bright and the moon was full. I looked back at Joe, the moon was so bright I could see Joe’s face clearly. Neither of us said anything for a long time until Joe stopped rowing and began to rub his elbows, “That is much harder then it looks.”

I smiled, “Well”, I started as I pulled myself closer to him and grabbed the oars, “if you use more of your back and lean forward and then back its less stress on your arms and it doesn’t kill your elbows as much.”

Joe moaned, “You’re telling me this now…”

I shrugged and Joe smiled, “I’m just kidding.”

I smiled, “I know.”

Joe looked at me, his brown eyes sinking deep into mine. I saw him smile, “I have a secret to tell you.”

I blushed, “You do?”

Joe nodded, “Sometimes… I dream about dancing jelly beans.”

I looked up at him and raised an eyebrow, “Dancing jelly beans?”

Joe nodded, “Yep.”

I giggled, “Sometimes I dream about singing plums.”

“Sugar plums, yum”, Joe said as he leaned forward and laughed. I giggled, I really hoped the dancing jelly beans were a joke.

Joe shook his head, “That wasn’t my secret though, I just felt like breaking the ice.”

I looked up at him, “Well the ice was already broken.”

“Well save us ‘cause we’re both drowning”, Joe said as he scooted forward and towards me. I giggled again, Joe was so funny. Joe looked up at me and touched my hand, “You look really pretty tonight.”

I bit my lip and smiled, “You clean up quiet nicely yourself.”

“Thanks my mom picked out this outfit”, Joe said as he popped his collar and smiled. I laughed and shook my head, “You are too funny.”

Joe leaned forward again, “Tell me… what you really dream about?”

I looked up at him and sighed, “About leaving this place and seeing the world. I have dreams about Paris and Germany and England and Scotland and… anywhere else but here. People think I’m strange, but I don’t care… I was always taught to chase after my dreams… and never give up.”

Joe leaned closer and rested his hand on my cheek, “I dream about what the perfect girl will look like.”

I looked up at him, his eyes shining and looking deeply into mine. I leaned closer to him, “And what does she look like?”

“Let’s just say”, Joe said as he leaned closer, our lips inches away, “that when I met you, I thought I was dreaming.”

We came closer and closer, our lips so close I could feel his breathing on mine. We were almost touching, when suddenly bright lights flashed. Joe and I both jumped, pulling our hands up and shading our eyes. I squinted and looked closer, Natashia. She stood there with four other people and everyone had their headlights pointed towards us. Natashia smiled evilly and flipping a long blond curl over her shoulder, “Oopsie. I didn’t know anyone was out here.”

Joe reached for the oars and began to rowing us back to shore, “I think… I don’t like her at all.”

I mumbled, “Join the club.” Why was she always ruining everything for me?!
