Carissa P.O.V.
I drove gripping the steering wheel as hard a physical possible for me. Driving slow as usually. Snail speed slow(trust me I wish I was kidding). Rachel was in the back set in an amazing party dress, wearing an ID tag. How crazy is that? I hate the ID's their so worthless. And what's with this party? It's three weeks in advance! They want to ship us off sooner I guess. I should look up this place in New Jersey. What's the name of the town? I don't know, anyway's I should look on the Internet. I love the town I'm in right now(beside that it's a little boring) I like it. Hopefully this one will be more interesting( and I pray cuter boys). So I guess it's not as bad as I'm expecting it to be.
~3 weeks later~
We had just arrived in New Jersey. Driving to our new house. Had everything we decided to bring. And leaving behind priceless things like best friends.
"Do you think it's cold, I hope it's not cold."Rachel continued to jabber on, maybe attempting to hide her nervousness. But I saw right through it.
"Rachel." I laughed "Calm down, please, I bet it's gonna be awesome." I lied.
"You don't think that, do you?" Darn. She knows me too well.
"Well.." I tried to deny it, but there's no use.
"Okay it's gonna suck, but you know my saying."
"No jacking your stuff?" Rachel answered jokingly.
I chuckled. "No. But don't do that." I paused. "My saying is that there's a reason for every thing."
"Oh please." Rachel sighed. "That is so cliche."
"Well at last it's completely true!" .
"Yeah whatever." Rachel turned to the window I followed her doing the same thing.
"Jezz." Rachel rubbed her eyes.
"What? Are you okay?" I asked. I am slightly over protective of her.
"Oh, nothing it just.." Her voice trailed off.
"What."
"I'm gonna miss that window." She looked away and fakely smiled.
"Huh?" I questioned. Then I remembered. We had this, well, we called it a window, but it was a balcony, and I was just attached to my room. We sleeped out there nearly ever night in the summer, even though it was a hundred degrees. It was my favorite place, and my guess Rachel's too. So much stuff went on out there that no one new about. Ha ha, kinda funny. How we miss the simplest things.
"Yeah me too." I agreed a little sadder now.
It was silent for the next couple minutes. Not an awkward silence. One of the silences where you're thinking so hard, or are disappointed so much that, you don't really notice that it's quiet.
"Hey Carissa." Rachel spoke, not moving from the window.
"Yes."
"I was just wondering, why you haven't been fighting with Mom lately."
"Well" I started "Like I just told you. I followed my own advice, everything does happen for a reason."
Rachel cracked a smile. "Yeah, whatever."
Okay, a little cheesey, but leave comment, and hope the next chapter will be better!(But we all know it will be. Jamie's writting it!). POST 1600! Whoot whoot!
