she has some genre confusions there. Well pretty much I think she meant those bands as a whole... And not have to mension the bands particular genre... I'm into "metal"... But I'm not a metalhead because I'm not stuck on one genre... I'm into classic rock thrash deathcore metalcore hardcore and other things... I think it's stupid to label people by genres!!! in my opinion I think it's a great thing that demi likes "metal" and even that she wants to do something secretly... It's badass!!! And for the metalheads that thing girls don't belong in metal should just go and f**k themselves!!! In fact im lookin for a girl to sing in my band like a lacuna coil kind of thing... Yea, kid. Deathcore is metal. It's a subgenre. Lamb Of God is pure metal, not hardcore. Underoath is metalcore, Devil Wears Prada is hardcore. But they are ALL types of metal. Why don't you get YOUR facts straight.

i agree hardcore is more metal then it is punk, lamb of god is more groove metal if you ask me they remind me of some pantera stuff, metal is a huge genre with milions of subgenres, a true metalhead likes all genres, including the more or less overrated genres such as nu metal and metalcore/deathcore/blackcore

so the fact she mentioned bands from all over metal, not just kick ass thrash or classic heavy metal, but more sophisticated(not in a good way) bands, proves that she is more or less a metal fan

i mean bieng a pop star is totaly not brutal, but i gues she has no choice

WOW. That's really all I can say right now. I mean, Demi Lovato? The one bitch that I've always hated, a METALHEAD?! Hmm...she's not as bad as I thought!
And just to contribute my say in some of these arguments...
1. "She's not even a good singer!" My response: Well, maybe not. But being a metalhead, maybe she's a better SCREAMER, in which case, I will stop hating her completely, and will actually have respect for her.
2. "_____ is NOT real metal!" My response: I fucking HATE that. That is the shittiest thing any metalhead can say to another metalhead. Every sub-genre of metal is still metal, so treat it with respect, along with its listeners. If we do that, the metal lifestyle will be a lot easier than it is now.

Why does it really matter if she makes the mistake of classifying a few bands in the wrong genre? I never understood, as to why small things effect other people's lives so much that they have near fatal heart attacks over it and over use of '!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!' (just shows your lack of intelligence)

Frankly, I adore Demi and her williness to live for herself and like whatever type of music she likes. Just because she sings 'pop' does not entirely mean that her whole being has to be surrounded around pop music.

Anyways, I just always wanted to get word out that the world does not revolve around 15 year old children trying to look and act tough over the internet.
