Well when I found out Demi was coming to Hersheypark, I flipped! I was so excited and couldn't wait! But unfortunately I was only allowed to go if I paid for my own Hersheypark ticket and got a friend to pay for hers. Since I was broke from buying all sorts of concert tickets for the summer, I had absolutely no money. So I was pretty bummed. I was sure that I wasn't going to be able to go! But about a week before the show, I got an email from my local radio station. I'm signed up for their newsletter, so I get updates on contests and such and I saw in the bottom of the email that they were going to be giving away tickets to see Demi during the weekday mornings before the shows. So I listened Monday morning, they never gave any away, then I listened again Tuesday and still nothing. So I decided I was going to call them and ask what was going on with the Demi Lovato tickets? Man, am I ever glad I did that! When I called them, I asked if they were still going to be giving away tickets to see her and they said they were planning to but didn't have time. So they asked me how badly I needed the tickets and I said, I can only go to this concert if I have the ticket to Hersheypark for the day and you know what they did!?!?! They go, you know what, it sounds like you're a true fan of hers and really want to go to this show, so we're going to give you four reserved seats to both shows plus admission to the park. (I still didn't know I had meet and greets, they never told me) After I made that phone call, I was ecstatic! When I arrived at the park Sunday morning around 9:45 I had to go to Guest Relations and pick up my tickets. When I opened the envelope, there were four wristbands in their along with a letter. The letter read "Congratulations! You have four tickets to see Demi Lovato live in concert plus meet and greet passes!" I was like, what?!? Are you joking? After her first show was over, my friends and I headed out to the back to meet her. We were the ONLY ONES
with wristbands! So we got to the front of the line and were some of the first ones to meet her! Although everyone waiting got to meet her and got one item signed by her, we got to go behind the fence and talk with her and get more of our stuff signed. We also gave her two gifts. A star necklace that she wore during the second show as a bracelet and a huge Hershey Kiss stuffed toy that we all signed and dated so she would remember her first concert and the first fans that met her at her own show! So that's basically how I met Demi Lovato. I know it was an extremely long story, but in the end, it was all worth it, because I got to meet my favorite singer, Demi Lovato.
